An Angel Match Alternative Without the Subscription: InvestorLists.vc vs Angel Match (2026)

Angel Match offers broad global coverage on subscription. InvestorLists.vc is a deep US VC file you own once. Payment model, scope and verification compared.

Details below were checked in July 2026 against Angel Match's published pages. Their offering changes over time, so see angelmatch.io for current details.

Angel Match and InvestorLists.vc both sell investor contact data to founders, which makes this the most direct comparison in our series. The differences that matter are the payment model, the scope, and what stands behind the word "verified."

What Angel Match does well

Angel Match advertises one of the largest founder-priced investor datasets available: 125,000+ angels and VCs worldwide with 99,000+ emails described as verified, searchable by stage, sector and location, on month-to-month plans from $59 to $349 (angelmatch.io/pricing, as of July 2026). The scope is the draw: global coverage including individual angels, at prices a founder can start and stop as needed. For a founder targeting international investors or angels specifically, that breadth on a flexible subscription is a real offer.

The three differences that matter

Payment model. Angel Match is a subscription with plan-based export allowances of 100 to 1,200 rows per month (their pricing page, as of July 2026). A raise that targets 800 firms takes several months of allowance on most plans. Our model is one payment, the entire file on day one, every row exportable, owned permanently: $497 once.

Scope. Angel Match goes broad: angels and VCs, worldwide. We go deep on one market: active US VC firms, every one checked for a live website, every one with a named decision-maker. Which is better depends entirely on your raise; for a US venture round, depth in exactly that market is the whole game.

Verification. Both products use the word "verified." We publish what ours means: SMTP-level checks with catch-all domains excluded, then a second pass with an independent verification tool, methodology public. As of July 2026 we did not find a page on Angel Match's site describing how their verification is performed. We would welcome one, publishing methodology raises the bar for everyone, and until then a buyer can compare one published process against one that is not yet published.

Choose Angel Match if

You are raising from angels, targeting investors outside the US, or want a flexible monthly subscription you can switch on for a sprint. Its breadth at founder pricing is its own category.

The bottom line for a founder raising now

For a US VC raise, the choice reduces to this: a metered subscription to a broad global dataset, or permanent ownership of a deep, US-focused file where every row carries a named decision-maker and an email verified by a published, mail-server-level process. That second option is the entire reason our product exists. See the database and read the full methodology, and own your list before the week is out.
