Terms of Service

Effective date: January 12, 2026. Last updated: October 11, 2026 (sections 2, 4 and 17 and the Privacy Policy).

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://investorlists.vc (the "Website"), the InvestorLists.vc portal and API (including our MCP server for AI tools), any newsletters, emails, content, and all digital products, including but not limited to databases, lists, files, and downloadable materials (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are owned and operated by Chosen V. Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the Website, subscribing to emails or newsletters, creating an account, connecting an AI tool, or purchasing or using any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Services

The Services may include, without limitation:

• Informational content published on the Website
• Free and paid newsletters and email communications
• Digital products such as databases or lists of investors, family offices, firms, or professionals, delivered through the web portal, as files, or through API and AI-tool access (our MCP server)
• Samples, previews, or extracts of data, including the free trial

All Services are provided for informational, entertainment, and commercial purposes only.

3. No Investment, Legal, or Professional Advice

All information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the Website or in any product or communication constitutes investment advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a recommendation of any kind. You are solely responsible for evaluating and using the information provided.

4. License and Permitted Use

When you purchase or access a digital product, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the product for your own internal business or personal use. The same license applies to data you retrieve through an AI tool connected to your account: the AI tool acts on your behalf and the data remains subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, publish, or make the data available to any third party
• Use the data to create or support competing products, databases, or services
• Upload the data to public websites, repositories, forums, or AI training systems
• Misrepresent the source of the data
• Share your account, login codes, API keys, or AI-tool connection with others, or use automated means to extract the database beyond your plan
• Use the data in any unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or non-compliant manner

Any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.

5. Third-Party Interactions

The Company does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any individual or entity listed in its databases. Any interactions, communications, transactions, or agreements between you and any third party obtained through the Services are solely between you and such third party. The Company shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, fraud, misrepresentation, misconduct, dispute, or harm arising from such interactions.

6. Accuracy and Data Disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or reliability of any data. Information may become outdated, incomplete, or incorrect at any time.

7. No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee any outcomes, responses, business opportunities, financial results, or success from using the Services or data. All use of the Services is at your own risk.

8. Payments and Refunds

All purchases are final. Due to the digital nature of the products, no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are provided, except where required by law. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, data compilations, products, branding, and materials provided through the Services are the exclusive property of Chosen V. Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract Website content
• Circumvent access controls, plan limits, or security measures
• Use the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any reason at our sole discretion.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHOSEN V. INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE APPLICABLE PRODUCT.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chosen V. Inc. from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or interactions with third parties.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Chosen V. Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you access or use https://investorlists.vc (the "Website"), the InvestorLists.vc portal, our API and MCP server for AI tools, subscribe to any newsletters or emails, or purchase or use any products or services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Name
• Email address
• Billing and payment information (processed by third-party providers; we do not store full card numbers)
• Communications you send to us
• Information you may provide voluntarily about yourself or your business, such as a description of your startup used to match investors

Account and usage information

• Your account email, optional first name, plan and billing status
• Single-use login codes and login links (hashed, expire within 15 to 60 minutes)
• Searches you run (including the text you or a connected AI tool sends), firms and contacts you unlock, lists you save, exports you download
• The AI tools you connect to your account and the calls they make (tool name, time, result count)
• Email delivery and engagement events for emails we send you

Automatically collected information

• IP address
• Browser type
• Device information
• Pages visited and usage data
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (including a session cookie that keeps you logged in and analytics and advertising pixels)

Information in the investor database

The database itself contains business information about investment firms and business contact information of investment professionals in their professional capacity: name, position, firm, work email address, and professional profile links. We collect it from firm websites, public regulatory filings, public professional profiles, and news sources, check it by a person, and refresh it regularly. Anyone listed can ask for correction or removal (see section 8).

2. How We Use Information

We may use collected information for any lawful business purpose, including but not limited to:

• Operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Website and Services, including enforcing plan limits and detecting abuse
• Delivering products, portal and AI-tool access, downloads, and newsletters
• Sending account and transactional emails such as login codes, receipts, and renewal notices
• Sending marketing, promotional, and informational emails
• Promoting current or future products, services, or publications
• Using your information across other websites, brands, newsletters, or publications owned or operated by us
• Analyzing usage and performance
• Complying with legal obligations

By providing your email address, you expressly consent to receive communications from us.

3. AI Tools and MCP Connections

You can connect your InvestorLists.vc account to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible software. When you do:

• You sign in on our own page (investorlists.vc) with your email and a one-time code. The AI tool never sees your code or your email inbox.
• We issue the tool an access token (valid 24 hours) and a refresh token (valid up to 90 days) that is limited to the investor database and your account data in it. You can revoke it at any time by disconnecting the tool in its settings or by emailing us; tokens also expire on their own.
• The tool receives only what our server returns for your requests: search results, firm records, contact details according to your plan and your unlocks, your saved lists, and your plan status.
• We receive the requests the tool sends on your behalf (the search text and filters) and log them like searches made in the portal. We do not receive, read, or store your conversations with the AI tool.
• The AI tool provider processes your conversation under its own privacy policy.

4. Marketing Communications

You may receive emails related to:

• Newsletters
• Product announcements
• Promotions and offers
• Other publications or services we own or operate

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email. Unsubscribing from one mailing list does not necessarily remove you from all communications unless explicitly requested. Account emails such as login codes and receipts are sent as long as you keep an account.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Website. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features, including staying logged in, may not function properly.

6. Information Sharing

We may share information with:

• Email service providers (for example our transactional email service and our newsletter platform)
• Payment processors (Stripe)
• Analytics, advertising, hosting, and infrastructure providers (for example Cloudflare, which hosts the Website, portal, database, and MCP server)
• The AI tool you choose to connect, as described in section 3
• Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law

We do not sell personal information.

7. Data Retention

• Account data: for as long as your account exists and up to 24 months after your last activity, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless we must keep it longer by law
• Login codes and links: deleted or invalidated after use or expiry (15 to 60 minutes)
• AI-tool tokens: expire after 24 hours (access) and 90 days (refresh); revoked tokens are removed
• Search, unlock, and usage logs: up to 24 months, for security, plan enforcement, and product improvement
• Billing records: as long as required by tax and accounting law
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it

8. Data Removal and Access Requests

If any individual or company wishes to have their information corrected or removed from our database or content, or if you want a copy or deletion of the data we hold about your account, email office@investorlists.vc. We will process reasonable requests in accordance with applicable laws.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections, hashed login codes and tokens, and access limited to what your plan allows, but no system is completely secure. You use the Website and Services at your own risk.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

11. Children's Privacy

The Website and Services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Website or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
